I had another fabulous family shoot on Sunday morning with the B Family. I left my own children at home not wanting to get dressed for the day only to arrive to two gorgeous smiling children all dressed up and ready to go.

We had so much fun, the children were full of smiles and giggles and were truly great troopers. With three wardrobe changes and myself placing them by the Christmas tree, moving to another room, turning them this way and that they were unbelievably cooperative. I can’t say that my own children would have been so good.

The light was fabulous and it was nice and warm inside, we did make it out to the park though for a few minutes before the windchill got the better of us.

I just love the smiles I received from the children, they were so welcoming. It was truly a great morning and I look forward to sharing the rest of the family session with them shortly as this is just a teeny tiny sneak peek of our time together.

And a big thank you to Mom and Dad for welcoming me into your home and allowing me to capture your gorgeous family.

If anyone told me two months ago that we would be shooting on a mid November afternoon, outside in our shirtsleeves, I would not have believed them. We had a lovely day on Tuesday, plenty of sunshine in the morning to warm up to a balmy +11C (52F) and just a touch of clouds came in for our shoot to soften the light.

And what a gorgeous and lovely family I had the opportunity to work with. So accommodating and so much fun to work with. Natural smiles around and one of the most well behaved dogs I have ever met.  And being a dog owner myself, I know it is hard to get them to cooperate sometimes.

They had the perfect tree in the backyard, just begging to be climbed, made for the perfect backdrop for this photo.

And I just couldn’t resist the smile on her face when she was hanging upside down and the gorgeous shoes she was wearing.Thank you so much for allowing me to capture your family, it was a pleasure meeting you all.
