Friday, was an absolutely perfect day to get Married. For March 4th, it wasn’t too cold or too wet, too sunny or too windy, it was pretty much just right for a Winter Wedding. I love that I feel almost as excited for the Bride and Groom on their Wedding Day as I did almost twelve years ago for my own wedding. The Bride arrived at Weddings In Style a few minutes early, as did I, so we had a few minutes to capture the last minute preparations get through any last minute jitters of excitement.

The Couple has a private ceremony at Weddings in Style together with their parents on Friday. Then on Saturday had another celebration with all of their friends. This was my first wedding at Weddings in Style, such a gorgeous venue located on The Market in Downtown Ottawa. Amanda and Jill had everything prepared and were so wonderful to work with.

The Couple chose a beautiful candlelit ceremony. As they exchanged their vows, their parents were all smiles. So lovely to see such a wonderful couple make their commitment to each other in just the way that they wanted. The ceremony was delightful and when the vows were finished the Groom let out a loud “Yeah!” and then there was a little bit of dancing and cheering.

The Bride and Groom didn’t want anything too traditional for their photos, so we had lots of fun getting some fun photos of them together. A little inside and a little outside. Despite being lunch hour on a Friday, we seemed to be riding just ahead of the crowds and had our locations to ourselves. It was lovely to see people walking by  stop and smile as it was quite obvious that they were newly married.
