Style Me Pretty – Ottawa Wedding Photographer

Friday, May 20th, 2011

Today, I am pleased to announce that I can finally share some work from my visit to New York City with Mike Colon back in early April. I had such an amazing time and brought home with me so much from my quick trip down.

Our shoot that was put together by Jaqueline of Merci New York has been featured on Style Me Pretty.  Together with Mike Colon, Kat Harris, Kristyn Kimball, Magdiel Sanchez, Marc Douglas Photography, Michael Rousseau Photography and By Petronella Photography we captured the beauty of Gabi and Johan in Central Park.

Gabi and Johan deserve an extra shout out. It was quite a chilly April day, not one where you would like to be out without a coat or some warm weather clothing. Johan tried his best to keep Gabi warm and Gabi did an amazing job keeping her composure despite the low temperatures.

Thank you to Mike Colon for the amazing opportunity to work with him and learn from him. Mike has amazing grace as he works, from being able to move passers by to encouraging Gabi and Johan to hang tough for just a few more minutes in the cold so we could get just a few more shots. For the last three years I have followed Mike’s work from his weddings,  to his work with Grace Ormand and his travels to third world countries. His passion for life and capturing the beauty in everyone he sees shows through in him and his work. He truly is blessed with such a wonderful gift and we are blessed to have the opportunity to learn from him as he shares this gift with others.

Rock Your Camera – Spring Edition

Wednesday, February 9th, 2011

With another successful Rock Your Camera last weekend, I thought it would be best to put it out there that I have a Spring Edition. Two seats have already been filled, but there is room for four more attendees. Join us Saturday, April 9th from 10am -2pm.

The details are as follows:

This is a beginner class. This class is targeted specifically for those with a DSLR camera. If you have a hard time getting the best light, the clearest photos or just want to take your camera off of Auto mode and learn how to be more creative, this class is for you.

In this four hour class I will cover the basics of ISO, Aperture and Shutter Speed. We will explore why you are not getting the results you want and fix that. It doesn’t matter if you shoot Canon or Nikon, the principles are the same. What matters is that we want you to get better photos.

In this class you will also have the opportunity to practice what you have learned before you leave.  There will be follow up feedback from your photos to ensure that you got the results you were looking for.

Registration is open.
I have had some interest in a next level course. In order for me to create one that is what you are looking for please feel free to leave a comment or email me directly at info@annaeppphotography.com

Get Ready to Rock Your Camera

Thursday, September 30th, 2010

So many times, too many to count really, people ask me how to get better pictures from their cameras. I would say this is the second most asked question after, ‘Which camera should I buy?’ I would love to have the opportunity to answer the first question in person in a class that has been designed just for you.

For the first time, I will be offering a class on how to Rock your Camera. This class is targeted specifically for those with a DSLR camera. If you have a hard time getting the best light, the clearest photos or just want to take your camera off of Auto mode and learn how to be more creative, this class is for you.
